Coinbase pays for trip to Washington for more than 50 crypto leaders

According to news on September 27, Coinbase is spearheading a cryptocurrency lobbying campaign aimed at gaining the support of lawmakers to pass new rules for the industry. Coinbase is helping pay for more than 50 cryptocurrency company executives to fly to Washington, D.C., to lobby lawmakers, according to people familiar with the matter. Coinbase also plans to park an armored cash truck near the Capitol, essentially a mobile billboard.

According to previous news, Coinbase established a non-profit organization The Stand With Crypto Alliance last month to promote pro-cryptocurrency policies globally.
