Many experts from Jump Crypto left their jobs to form blockchain start-up Douro Labs and cooperate with Pyth

A group of experts from cryptocurrency market maker Jump Crypto has left to form a new software company focused on developing blockchain-based financial data feed projects.

Former Jump employees Mike Cahill, Jayant Krishnamurthy and Ciaran Cronin co-founded Douro Labs, which works closely with blockchain-based data service Pyth Network, according to a statement Tuesday. A Douro Labs representative said the 19-person team includes six more people from the Jump crypto team who are already working on Pyth.

Data contributors to Pyth include companies such as Virtu and Cboe.
