SEC Has Delayed 7 Bitcoin ETF Filings Including BlackRock

As of press time, the U.S. SEC has made decisions to postpone the filing of seven Bitcoin ETFs, namely BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust, Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Trust, VanEck Bitcoin Trust, WisdomTree Bitcoin Trust, and Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF, Valkyrie Bitcoin Fund, Bitwise Bitcoin ETP Trust.

According to the filing, regulators won’t make decisions on the various proposed rule changes until October, with new deadlines for iShares, Wise Origin, Invesco Galaxy, VanEck, and WisdomTree being October 17, and Valkyrie being October 19. , Bitwise’s deadline is October 16, by which time the SEC can approve, deny, or postpone its decision again.
