The rise in price pushed XRP’s market capitalization to $85.55 billion, accounting for 2.58% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its peak, XRP’s market cap had reached $84.06 billion.
In the last 24 hours, XRP traded between $1.3547 and $1.5057, reflecting strong price movement. Over the past week, XRP has gained 33.9%, with a 24-hour trading volume of $7.82 billion, or 3.97% of the total cryptocurrency market volume. Over the past seven days, XRP has fluctuated between $1.0797 and $1.6292.
Despite this recent rally, XRP remains 54.46% down from its all-time high of $3.29, set on January 4, 2018.
Bitcoin and Ethereum Also See Gains
Bitcoin traded at $95,640.70, up 3.03% on the day, with its market cap standing at $1.896 trillion, or 57.20% of the total cryptocurrency market cap.
Ethereum, meanwhile, was priced at $3,559.44, reflecting a 7.93% gain. Ethereum’s market cap stood at $428.94 billion, making up 12.94% of the overall crypto market value.
