The rise pushed Ethereum’s market capitalization to $437.31 billion, representing 22.96% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its peak, Ethereum’s market cap reached $569.58 billion.
Over the past 24 hours, Ethereum traded between $3,303.79 and $3,660.87, reflecting a strong upward momentum. In the past seven days, Ethereum has gained 17.87%, with a trading volume of $41.10 billion, accounting for 17.26% of the total cryptocurrency trading volume during that period. Ethereum’s price has fluctuated between $3,034.44 and $3,661.10 in the past week.
Despite its recent gains, Ethereum remains 24.74% below its all-time high of $4,864.06, which was reached on November 10, 2021.
Bitcoin and Tether Report Gains
Meanwhile, Bitcoin traded at $96,305.10, up 5.03% on the day. Its market cap stood at $1.905 trillion, representing 100.01% of the total cryptocurrency market cap.
Tether (USDT), a popular stablecoin, rose by 0.15%, trading at $1.0013, with a market capitalization of $132.85 billion, making up 6.97% of the overall crypto market value.
