DMarket regained its position as the leading platform for daily non-fungible token (NFT) sales on Sunday, surpassing the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), according to data.
On Sunday, DMarket achieved secondary sales totaling $747,527 through 32,377 transactions, pushing its cumulative sales past $490 million, now just shy of the $500 million mark. DMarket features NFTs representing virtual items from popular online games like Counter-Strike and Dota 2.
The platform had previously led the NFT market until BAYC overtook it on Wednesday of the previous week.
In second place for the day was CryptoPunks, which recorded $676,331 in sales across 10 transactions. This renowned collection now boasts a historic sales volume of $2.86 billion, ranking third on the all-time sales list.
Newly launched on the Polygon network, the Fashion Girl collection secured third place in daily sales with $529,002.
Ethereum, hosting CryptoPunks, led all blockchains in NFT sales on Sunday with $3.57 million, a notable increase from $2.58 million the day before. Ethereum saw a significant rise in activity with 20,409 transactions.
Solana followed as the second-highest performing blockchain with $2.89 million in sales, while Polygon ranked third with $2.01 million.
