Optimism said in its official tweet that starting today, there will be several transactions totaling approximately 116 million OP tokens (worth $162.4 million), aiming to let the community know in advance that these are planned transactions.
Optimism also said that the $162.4 million in tokens came from “the unallocated portion of the OP token pool, which was part of the foundation’s original working budget and represented 30% of the initial OP token supply.”
