Ark Invest applies to launch first U.S. spot Ethereum ETF

Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas tweeted that Ark Invest and 21shares submitted an application for the first spot Ethereum ETF in the United States, called ARK 21SHARES ETHEREUM ETF. “More could be on the horizon,” analysts said.

The document states that the proposed fund, if approved, would trade on the Cboe BZX exchange.
Canada reportedly becomes the first to approve spot Ethereum in April 2021

The nation of ETFs, which allowed spot bitcoin ETFs to start trading a few months ago.
